Where does the time go? I have received a huge surge of e-mails about my work since this blog post in which I shared some photos of a new and nearly complete piece, so many e-mails that I am still working on sending replies. If you haven’t heard from me yet, don’t worry; I will be replying! In the mean time, I would like to answer some of the most frequently asked questions about my work here.
“Are you accepting commissions?”
My books are currently closed, as I continue to work on my current commissions. I will have future sales pieces, and do expect to offer future commissions, although the commissions will be on a highly limited basis.
“Where can I get news of your sales pieces, commission openings, and model horse painting classes?”
I currenty post news in three places.

My yahoo group is very low-volume (meaning that I won’t clog your inbox with messages) as I only send updates when there is an event or a sales piece available. If you would like be certain that you will receive news of my art, delivered right to your e-mail box, this is the place to go.
2. This Blog
If you follow this blog, you know that there is a little of everything here, including progress photos, news, and more. It is also a great place to find updates about my sales, work, and classes.
3. Facebook Page
My art page on facebook is called Karen Beeson Equine Artist, which is a different page (with different updates) from what you will get if you friend me at my personal page on facebook. I do post a variety of sneak peeks and photos on my facebook art page, but we all know how easy it is to "miss" things on facebook, so if you are on this page with me, I'd recommend joining my yahoo group too.
“Do you have a website where I can see more of your work?”
I don’t have a website at the moment, but what I do have are some older albums at webshots. These albums show most of my pieces from four to seven years ago, but please be aware that I have not updated these albums with my most recent years of work and client wins. Several recent years of work, NAN wins, and show wins are missing from these albums. Still, it is fun to go back and see what I was doing six years ago when I started offering commissions. Those who know my work will recognize many of the pieces, which are still getting out to the show rings (and still winning!).
I have actually just learned that webshots has been purchased, and will no longer be a free service as of December 1. I won’t be subscribing to keep my photos there, so that gives everyone just two more days to see what I have in my webshots albums (at least until I have a website to share all these photos on).
Today’s photo of Faith on Fire’s flank comes from the 2006 album there. Have a look before the photos are gone!
