Performance at No Frills Live 8/25/12

I was seated near the performance rings at No Frills Live last Saturday and treated to some wonderful eye candy. Here are a few of the most enjoyable entries. I wish I knew all of the owners, artists, tack and prop makers so I could credit them. If you have any information to add, please leave a note on this post.

This is a tiny pebbles Arabian custom by Tiffany Purdy. The darling doll was made by D'Arry Frank and decorated by Tiff.

I'm crazy about the bling on these girls, both horse and rider!

The water prop was just as lovely as the horse, doll, and tack. I'm tempted to try my own hand at something like this.

Here is the same little Morab in harness.

I loved seeing these older Breyer Shire doing what they do best, showing in the draft harness class.

Then there was a very tiny harness entry...

This is the description card for the following entry by D'Arry Frank:

Now brace yourself for some cuteness.  What a brilliant idea for a realistic variation on the Indian Costume theme!

Tiffany Purdy created this Alborozo custom.  The wonderful layered mane looks like hair, but it isn't. It is very impressively sculpted!

Mini coon jumping!

D'Arry made this doll and horse.  The flying coat tails bring it all together!

My next post will cover the CM and AR divisions.

  3. The water prop is by us (Tabletop Studios)--it started as part of a jungle themed jump set that we made for Tiffany a number of years ago!

Thanks for sharing the photos, love seeing all the cool performance ideas.

  4. Thank you for letting me know, Kim! I loved how the flowers and lily pads were perfectly "floating" on the water. I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos!
